Flight information and travel dates
General
Several airlines fly from Frankfurt to New Zealand, with one change of plane. The nearest airport is Auckland (approx. 3h transfer time to Taupo). We will probably offer a group flight, more information will follow. Please note that each airline has its own baggage regulations. We will be happy to make you a non-binding offer.
Bike transport
Bicycle cases weighing up to 30 kg can be booked with most airlines for a fee. If you would like to take a bike with you, please indicate this in your travel request.
Information
A valid passport and a visa (NZeTA) are required to enter New Zealand. This must be valid on entry for at least the entire duration of the stay and for three months after departure. Each travel participant is responsible for complying with the entry requirements. The regulations may change at any time and can be viewed at the Federal Foreign Office.
