Flights
Our package prices do not include air fares. You can fly from anywhere in Europe, just let us know your preferred departure airport and we will make you an offer. The flight duration to Auckland is about 26 hours.
Bike transport
The airlines commonly include 30kg baggage allowance, which can also be divided between several pieces of baggage. Bicycles can also be transported within the free baggage allowance. However, all baggage exceeding the limit is handled as excess baggage with high charges.
We cannot guarantee the company's adherence to its baggage policy. Any issue regarding baggage transport is to be settled directly between the passenger and the airline company. You have to notify us of your need of a bike transport when booking!
Entry regulations
Citizens of countries belonging to the European Union as well as Switzerland need a machine-readable passport to enter New Zealand, which must be valid for at least 30 days after the trip.
The entry permit ETA must be applied for online prior to the travel.
Important: each travel guest is solely responsible for compliance with the entry regulations. These may change at any time.
Luggage
Your free baggage allowance with South African Airways is one checked luggage weighing maximum 23 kg and which combined dimensions (L+W+H) should not exceed 158cm + one hand luggage (max. 5 kg). In addition, you may take a packed bike (200cm x 100cm x 75cm and 23 kg max.) free of charge (as of November 2016).
Please note that each airline company has its own baggage policy.
